Horrible customer service! These guys sent a case for an 8.9" netbook instead of the 10.1 Samsung NC10 compatible that I ordered. Not a huge deal EXCEPT that they don't have a phone number anywhere and it took 5, yes five, emails to work out a return. And they took days for them to respond to each one! In that time I had no choice but to buy another case retail because I had a trip coming. The credit took even longer and they refused to credit me for the original shipping even though they sent the wrong item! I've been using Amazon as my #1 go-to when I need something for years. They've made a couple misakes along the way and have always done the right thing to take care of me. These Vangoddy people don't deserve to be associated with Amazon!

I needed a 32" to fit into my entertainment center, with top-of-the-line picture quality, HDMI-in ports, and useful options with intuitive controls. I also wanted name-brand reliability. The Sharp LC32D62U fit the bill perfectly. I definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking to upgrade to 1080p in a small affordable package. I mainly use this to play xbox 360 games which look unbeleivably better in 1080p than 480fuzz. All this throught a component cable too; someone told me at circuit city that you couldn't get 1080p through component, but Microsoft's website said you could, and I am viewing xbox games in 1080p...so...it always pays to get a 2nd opinion. 5 inputs, with two hdmi, gives you a bunch of options, and for 800 bucks, this tv is a very good bargain. I will be in the market for a 52 aquos for the living room very soon. A Sony or Samsung will give you a nice picture too, but Sharp was cheaper, and as much as i love the 1080p pic versus the SD, i couldn't tell that any brand was superior to the other. So price and inputs were the big one for me. This tv is small; you'll want to be no more than 8 feet away, but it is perfect for a gaming tv or a bedroom tv. 1080i comcast cable is extremely bright and vivid over the 480i standard cable. What are you waiting for?? :)

Customer Review: good as a wifi extender but max speed is 14 mps
I purchased the product to extended the range of my wifi especially when doors are closed. As a range extender it worked great but the product description says speed is 54 mps, but that is the speed of the wireless unit, the speed is actually 14 mps max due to the router until that is connected to your router. I needed more speed than that so I exchanged for the a/c wired 200 mps units which nets out to 80 mps at the receiving unit.

When I read these reviews I was skeptical - how could it really last this long? but it is TRUE! After the first charge it lasted 5 hrs, after the 2nd even longer. Customer Review: Great Home Server
After watching Home Server evolve (or not evolve) over the last 3 years I jumped on this unit. Great price and physical size VS the HP models is what made me jump. Right away I added two other 500gig drives and made sure I made all my content was redundantly stored. I hate data loss. Every should be aware that this comes shipped with a single drive, which can fail. So please buy a 2nd 1tb drive right away so you don't lose your data. I had two extra drives in my current system. So I copied over all the data to Acer Aspire, moved over the drives and formatted them, then made my data redundant. The unit has smart shutdown software, turns off when your computers go into standby then wakes up itself and your computers to do backups. The only think I did not like was the virus software. And what made that worse was that there was not a easy uninstall button. You have to remote desktop in and uninstall from add/remove programs. Also the unit comes with none of the MS patches, which required 4 or 5 reboots and took a few hours.
Customer Review: Great server, and a great value too.
There aren't many purpose-built Windows Home Server systems available. I've tried the HP 485 also, and I prefer the Acer. I haven't measured the power consumption directly, but the Atom processor should use less power. More importantly though, it is much quieter than the HP. The case design seems very sensible. It is shorter than the HP, but a couple of inches wider. This is partly because there's a big 120mm fan on the right side, blowing air directly at the 4 drive bays as well as the motherboard at the bottom. Mine came with a Western Digital Green drive. It was the WD10EAVS version which I believe is a budget model (only 8MB cache), but I'm inclined to trust it more than the Seagate 7200.11 drive which comes with the HP. I did have one problem but this was more of a documentation error. It happened when I tried to do a server recovery (I didn't need to, I just wanted to make sure I knew how.) This consists of starting the Server Recovery CD on a connected computer, then rebooting the server and hitting the reset switch. Or so the instructions said - but I kept getting the "Server Not Found" error. It took a long time to wade through Acer's technical support phone system - the first two people on the line seemed to think I was dealing with a desktop computer - but after 20 minutes they finally transferred me to someone with access to the necessary information. It turns out that to put it in reset mode, you have to turn off the server, press and *hold* the reset button (with a paperclip), hit the power button, *then* after several seconds, release the reset button. Even after that, I had to keep hitting the "back" button on the recovery software and retrying, but after a couple of minutes it found the server, and the recovery went smoothly from there.

Customer Review: Excellent companion to MBP + 24" Display
I bought it for my 17" MacBook Pro to sit on next to my 24" Cinema Display. The laptop used to take up 25% of my desk. With the stand it uses about 12% and I can slide papers/books/etc underneath it. I don't use the cable routing hole in the back because it looks better ironically. Very sturdy, does not slide around (stand or laptop), and aluminum matches Apple products very well. I highly recommend you buy one.

Customer Review: The Best in Its Class!
I take pictures of meetings and wanted a pocket camera with good low light handling because some people in the meetings don't like to be disturbed by flash. I have owned and still own many pocket size digital cameras. But I end up having to carry my bulky SLR to the meetings because the pocket cameras don't handle low light well. Another feature I want is the convenience of AA batteries instead of those special types. A2100IS meets both of my needs. Other features, such as face detection, auto white balance, and button locations, are really great too. Why did I remove one star? The low light pictures are still noisy, though acceptable (for the price). The flash does not reach far enough, so when I got a chance to use flash for a group of 8 people today against light, the picture turned out to be less satisfactory than the one without flash. You would normally expect dark faces without flash since it was against light, but the low light handling (along with face detection) turned out to work better than flash shooting. This is Canon's cheaper model, so they delay applying the more recent technology. A larger CCD like the one they use for SD990 (1/1.7"), plus a larger lens (f2.8 or better) would make this camera a dream. If SD990IS uses AA batteries, I would have already bought it. Still, this camera is the best in its class and price range. If you don't care about AA batteries and rather have a smaller and lighter camera to carry, and don't mind a spending little more money, consider SD990IS.

This is our second Canon Powershot. The SX1 IS was terrific and after 25,000 saved images, the focusing gears were literally griding. (The time spent taking photos in a desert sandstorm may have contributed!) The SX10 IS is terrific because--it has low shutter lag time, excellent face recognition focusing, is solidly built and fits the hand well, 20X zoom, very effective image stabilization that allows frequent use of the long zoom in surprisingly low light, has 10 megapixel resolution and uses normal AAA batteries, We always use rechargables and get several hundred photos (without flash usage) between recharging. The swivel screen is a major aid in taking closeups of flowers, insects and small children. With 7 grandchildren and living in the beautiful Northwest, it rarely cools off!

I've only had this camera a short time, haven't even had time to play with it beyond the basic functions, but already am thrilled with it. Still shots of birds on the far side of the back yard are amazingly clear and focused. The most amazing is the close-ups, both still and video. After taking many pictures of a flower spider, and cropping and enlarging some, I saw incredible details that I hadn't noticed, even with my face 6 inches away from the real thing! The translucence of the skeleton, copper-colored markings, hairs on the legs... If a camera can get me this excited about a spider, it's got to be good!

Customer Review: What's the Point?
I own a 3803 receiver. I also own a nice Samsung DLP and Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD player and a Denon 2900 DVD player. In my view, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to upgrade to a receiver that only upgrades video via HDMI when there is no audio upconversion to "True HD" sound that is all over the new HD discs. Until Denon or someone comes up with a receiver that does this, I will be standing pat on my current rig, and anyone that decides to spend $4000 on a receiver that doesn't do both HD video AND audio is simply throwing their money away.
Customer Review: If You Wanted the AVR-5805 But Were Too Scared, This is the Receiver for You
If you have had a chance to read my reviever on the model above this receiver you will know that I am lucky enough to work for OneCall_com and have the joy of being able to get product information directly from the manufacturers. This morning I sat in a 90 minute training on the Denon product line and in my opinion this is the receiver I would purchase out of the Denon line. Why? It offers all the bells and whistles you can imagine but doesn't have the complication of the AVR-5805. One of the features I really liked about this particular receiver was the the cleanliness of sound, the ability for the receiver to control lip synching issues (a real problem caused from today's video information being slower than the audio information), and an audio enhancement they gave a fancy marketing name. I own the Onkyo TXNR900, but this receiver has MUCH better sound than my Onkyo (and I love my Onkyo). If you are looking for a high quality receiver to go with your multi-thousand dollar television, this is the answer.

Horrible customer service! These guys sent a case for an 8.9" netbook instead of the 10.1 Samsung NC10 compatible that I ordered. Not a huge deal EXCEPT that they don't have a phone number anywhere and it took 5, yes five, emails to work out a return. And they took days for them to respond to each one! In that time I had no choice but to buy another case retail because I had a trip coming. The credit took even longer and they refused to credit me for the original shipping even though they sent the wrong item! I've been using Amazon as my #1 go-to when I need something for years. They've made a couple misakes along the way and have always done the right thing to take care of me. These Vangoddy people don't deserve to be associated with Amazon!

We are very happy with this camera. It is very easy to use right out of the box. Most of the features can be figured out very quickly without using the booklet. The pictures are great. The 'green square' focus feature is great. We like the feel. Be sure to get a camera case for it - the camera is almost too small. Be careful though, the high res can easily make the pictures too big to upload or email. Downside: The preview mode is hard to get switched out of the 'picture-in-picture' mode - we never could figure out why in the heck they put that totally useless "feature" in for. It can also be a little difficult to change the resolution - but you'll eventually figure it out. We compared this to a Nikon Coolpix that a friend had and we liked this one better.

This 12 cell battery is well worth getting for your HP notebook. It will extend your battery life by about an hour (more if you don't use power hungry applications and turn your screen brightness down). It is a bit beefy and will protrude out the bottom of the laptop. I actually prefer this as it changes the angle of the laptop to allow more air flow, as well as easier typing. If you need an extra battery for your notebook and want a long life battery, this is a really good option.

Although I still prefer a traditional setup with a subwoofer (really just a preference), I have to say the Buttkicker kit is very impressive. Adds an extra bit of oompf to your system. I tested it with a few action movies eg. Troy and PS3 games and was pleasantly suprised. For the AV enthusiast with the complete setup (eg. 7.1, 40"+ LCD and audiophile cable and speakers) you might want to give this a try, its a nice kit to play with and works as advertised. But for the apartment dweller such as myself, it is not necessary and comes back to my initial point of why I prefer a traditional subwoofer. Still its a great product that delivers.

I've been enjoying my ButtKicker for five months now. The build quality impressed me and the instructions for installation are easy to follow. I've used it with Blu-ray discs/DVDs, an Xbox, and a Wii. To say that it adds another dimension to one's home theater is an understatement. As a gamer, I was blown away. The vibrations are proportionate to what is happening in the game. For example, while playing a WWII shooter, grenades resonate more strongly than bullets, etc. Also, being able to in essence, feel the proximity of an enemy adds an amazing degree of realism. Surprisingly, games on the Wii in Pro Logic II were just as impressive as Xbox games in digital 5.1. Using the ButtKicker with movies feels like being at an IMAX. I was concerned I might be disturbing neighbors when I watched The Dark Knight for the first time using the ButtKicker as it was so intense. My neighbors in the apartments below me and those next door said they heard nothing. I haven't spent a great deal of time using the ButtKicker with music but as was the case with movies and games, it delivers. That said, there are a couple things to consider before purchasing. As stated on their website, the BKA300 can't be expanded. So know going in that this will work with only one couch or chair. Also, while there is a remote, there are no level displays on the unit's receiver or remote itself. This was initially frustrating as I like different levels of intensity depending on the audio source. However, any smart remote can be used to control the ButtKicker which overcomes this issue. As an audiophile trapped in the budgetary constraints of being a full-time graduate student, the ButtKicker was the perfect purchase. It provides me the bone rattling experience of a dedicated home theater system before practicality allows me to have one. Any home theater enthusiast that lives in an apartment, dorm, or who uses their living room as their theater room should take a serious look at this product.

There does not seem to be a good alternative to buying a new battery from Dell. While their batteries cost about $200 (shipping included), at least Dell batteries perform up to their specification...for a year...before they go dead. If I had known this about Dell beforehand, I might not have been so quick to buy a laptop from them. I ordered an AGPTEK battery from Brilliant Store, hoping to save >$100 on a 9 cell 'Dell clone' battery, but I was disappointed. The battery meter was nonfunctional, and worse the battery would not charge past %50 capacity. The battery did seem to work otherwise, however, but I assumed I was sent a used battery. While I did have to pay $6-8 for return shipping, which was not reimbursed to me (which, to be fair, is plainly stated in their returns policy), the shipment and return refund were both processed equally rapid, so I have no complaints about Brilliant Store in any other regard. I was not impressed with the battery I ordered however, but I guess one gets that for which one pays...nothing more, unfortunately, but nothing less.

I recently upgraded the TV and AV receiver in my main family room and the old units were relegated to the basement family room, so I needed an HT speaker system to go with them. Since the room is only occasionally used I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. I was actually a bit skeptical when I stumbled across these... after all, how good could they be for $118? Well, I was pleasantly surprised by just how good these sounded. Amazing, actually, for the size and cost. They produce a natural and room filling sound driven by my old Onkyo TX-NR801 receiver (100w/ch). Based on my experience my son has ordered a set for his bedrooom system.

There is no sinking feeling lower than aiming to take that winning shot and your camera runs out of juice. Customer Review: Winner in a game full of losers
This is the best of the 3 replacement chargers that I've purchased for my Compaq Presario C300. The two previous crapped out after only a month each. This one is pretty good, it stays plugged into the laptop very well and is secure. The only drawback is, that while it claims to be designed to work for this particular laptop, the charger itself gets dangerously hot... like you shouldn't touch it with your bare hands hot. That leads me to believe that it's working overtime to charge the battery, and it doesn't seem like it should have to work that hard to charge.

When I received this charger I immediately plugged it in and it worked just fine. Then I noticed that the two pieces that you had to connect together between the charger and the the plug in part didn't stay together two well; they would always separate and I would find myself constantly having to get up and put them back together; it was very annoying. Then to top it all off, I left my computer charging and came back a few hours to find it still uncharged with a burnt smell in the room. The computer charger had overheated and is now sitting in the trash can where it should have been when I first received it. So yet again, not worth it. Oh and did I mention I only had the charger for 3 days???

Customer Review: Great except Perfect Pixel
It's a very good looking T.V. I definitely see a better picture compared to my old 1080i. However every movie or show I watch also looks like it was shot with a crappy camera. It's an effect that was very hard to put my finger on. It was like I was watching movies that were unnaturally sharp and made the movies look fake. Then I played around with the 'demo' feature. It turns out Perfect Pixel was causing the effect, the demo offers a side by side view with Perfect Pixel on and off. When I look at faces I see every pore on their face, then I see big white dots on their necks. when I took off Perfect Pixel (only available on left 50% of screen during demo) the neck looks like a neck again. Also some shirts would cause terrible white glare from no where. I was going to hit this T.V. hard, but it looks like Perfect Pixel can be turned off in a way. There's no off button per se, but it does seem to work off the Sharpness setting. I think Perfect Pixel feeds off this number (0-10), I turned it down low, very low. Looks like a movie again. Still 4/5 for the terrible quality of the Perfect Pixel feature, but then it's better than any olden day sharpness effect I guess.

i just bought the philips 42pfl5704d/f7 which is almost identical to this model. both have 1080p, 120hz, 2m/s response etc... i am just writting this review because you can get that tv for so much cheaper at dell. when all was said and done (by using a few online coupons) my total amount including tax, was only $773. just throwing it out there for those who are interested in this tv. i have not yet received the tv but i hope its good and judging by the reviews i think it would be
